'Survivor: Millennials vs Gen X': Michaela Bradshaw Hopes To Play Like These Strong Female Castaways [POLL, VIDEO]
New Survivor castaway Michaela Bradshaw is hoping to play similar to some of the strongest women in the show's recent history.
Michaela is one of 20 new castaways part of Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen. X this fall. As a 25-year-old working in vacation club sales, she is on the Millennials tribe. While many consider the word "Millennial" to be synonymous with entitled or spoiled, Michaela sees things differently.
"To be a Millennial is to resonate with the idea that I can design my own life," she says in her CBS bio. "It's the notion that I should have the desires of my heart, not because I am 'entitled' to them, but because God granted me the ability to attain them."
As she prepares for the game, Michaela hopes to combine the strengths of Survivor: Cagayan and Cambodia player Tasha Fox, San Juan del Sur and Cambodia player Kelley Wentworth and San Juan del Sur winner Natalie Anderson.
"Tasha was in the right alliances and never had her loyalty questioned," Michaela says in her bio. "I love that Wentworth was crafty, played hard, took risks, and was an asset in challenges. Natalie represents my inner beast; she was athletic, spunky, played a social game, made big moves, and actually won."
Of course, Michaela will also have to draw on her own experiences to adapt to the crazy, fast-paced game of Survivor. Luckily, she suggests in her bio that her background in sales and her physical ability has prepared her for the game.
"I will be the Sole Survivor because I will adapt to everything the game throws at me," the Fort Worth, Texas native says. "My experience in sales has made me nearly immune to rejection, so things not going my way won't take my head out of the game. Physically, I'm in great shape. Also, I'm a fairly rational thinker, so I will separate what I do in real life from what I need to do to win this game."
Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen. X premieres Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
