New information has now surfaced by way of a synopsis on the CW's hit show The Vampire Diaries' upcoming episode, titled She's Come Undone.

The respective installment will feature Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) still on a mission to revive Elena (Nina Dobrev). However, they'll soon realize that their plan isn't going to work, as she can see past Damon's lies.

The CW network put out the following synopsis on the 21st episode of season 4:

"Damon and Stefan try a brutal new approach to provoke Elena into turning her humanity back on, and Caroline is frustrated when her attempt to intervene backfires. When Elena figures out a way to call the Salvatore brothers' bluff, they call for backup from a surprising source. Matt gives Rebekah some unsolicited advice on her life choices, and she tries to help him in return. Caroline has a confusing and dangerous encounter with Klaus, and Katherine is suspicious when Bonnie makes her an offer that she promises will benefit them both."

Elena is clearly well aware that Damon wouldn't dare inflict pain on her, and still loves her. However, Damon has been planning to slay Matt (Zach Roerig) because he's still alive following the Wickery Bridge accident.

Elena had saved the Matt's life, so Damon thinks that if he compromises Matt's livelihood once again, he may get Elena to become human again in the process.

Meanwhile, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline's (Candice Accola) relationship continues to flourish, as he professes his love for the her, telling her he wanted her in New Orleans.
