Rapper and reality star Yung Joc is taking it all in stride after he nearly broke the Internet following the debut of his new hairstyle earlier this week.

He was compared to singers Fantasia and Monica, who also rock very similar do’s, in hilarious memes that went viral on social media all day Friday.

Yung Joc responded and shared a video of himself rocking out to one of Fantasia’s hits Free Yourself.

He captioned it, “Tuh!!!!”

He also seemed to think it was funny when he was compared to the grandmother on hit nineties sitcom Family Matters and a member of The Five Heartbeats.

He possibly confirmed rumors that he switched up his style for a movie role and revealed in a video that he was on set in Hollywood. Singer Monica also responded and posted a photo of herself and Yung Joc. “Had to ask @joclive Did he come for my hair?! …”

Wait.... Y'all just crossed the line I take my #SoGoneChallenge SERIOUSSSSSS

Fans had lots to say about it too.

One compared him to Freda Gatz on Fox’s juggernaut series Empire.

Another said he was a member of 90s R&B girl group Total.

He was said to look like rapper Dej Loaf, the spokeswoman for Popeyes and his face was even on a hair box.
