Brandi Burnside caught lots of backlash when she revealed that she used the money that was meant for her child’s savings to invest in a partnership of a clothing boutique on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. Now, she has spoken out about it and explained why she thought it was a good idea.

Burnside first revealed to Princess Love that her husband Max Lux gave her $27K to invest in their child’s future. Instead, she used it for an investment of her own.

She told the network, “I know that everything is happening just the way that I planned it. [The store] is gorgeous, it’s beautiful, and it was not always like that. If you guys saw the before pictures and the after, you would feel really good.”
She added that she plans to “quadruple” her “son’s money” from the success of the store.

As for Lux, he was clearly livid that Burnside decided to put the money elsewhere, but he pointed out he hasn’t been perfect throughout the relationship either.

“I put up with a lot,” he said. “But at the same time she puts up with a lot too. So we have to put up with each other…”

He went to compare their relationship to Lucille Ball and Ricky.

Burnside said she is convinced that it will all work out.

“Please believe this boss is going to show you how this ends. And it’s not going to be a disaster.”

Check it out.
