She put an end to their affair when his mother learned what they were up to and threatened to expose the truth and destroy her marriage, but Billy (Jason Thompson) isn't going to let Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) bow to the pressure of Jill's (Jess Walton) blackmail on The Young and the Restless.

Now that he knows the reason Phyllis did a 180 on him and completely seemed to recommit to her marriage to Jack (Peter Bergmann), Billy is more determined than ever before to get her back, and will beg her to give their hot affair another chance.

"I want you. I need you. I want to be together again," he says in a preview clip for the Tuesday, September 6 episode.

Phyllis will remain adamant however that they can't be together because she won't risk Jack finding out she slept with his brother that way. In addition, Jill is still scheming, because she wants Billy to reunite with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) once and for all, and it orchestrating a trip to Seattle which will force them to be together. Pretending it's about business and telling them both Cane (Daniel Goddard) will also be there (when he won't be), she will order them both to go on the trip. Her plan is to not only make sure they are together, but that both Phyllis and Travis (Michael Roark) are then out of sight and hopefully out of mind, which would facilitate an easier reunion for the formerly married couple.

However, Billy won't let his mother continue running his love life, and will start working on a plan that allows both he and Victoria to move on with their respective interests. He will encourage Travis to go on the trip with Victoria instead of him, only hinting that he doesn't want to go, and thinks they should take the trip to mix business and pleasure. If he can convince Travis to do so, then he could be free to stay behind in Genoa City, and perhaps work on seducing Phyllis again.

Meanwhile, as he tries to reunite with her and she works to keep their secret affair in the dark, there could start being some suspicion from someone else about just how close they got. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will start thinking there could be something more to worry about, and will ask Jack about what he thinks concerning Phyllis and Billy's relationship.

"Okay, so you and Phyllis are fine," she says in the clip. "What about Billy and Phyllis?"
