The Thule is back on Supernatural, but never fear - the last surviving legacy of the Judah Initiative is on the case.

Adam Rose will reprise his role as Aaron Bass this fall, teaming up with the Winchester brothers as their mutual season 8 foes return in episode 5. A society of Nazi necromancers, the Thule will use their dark sorcery to bring Hitler into the 21st Century.

Rose hinted at a season 12 return late last week when he posted a video from Vancouver, a.k.a. Supernatural's stomping grounds. The casting was confirmed by TV Line on Tuesday, but there's no word as to whether or not Aaron's golem will join the fray.

“We’ve got something really cool coming up in Episode 5, where it will be the triumphant or not so triumphant return of the Thule, who have decided to enact their master plan and bring back Hitler,” co-showrunner Andrew Dabb told TV Line. “And the way we describe our Hitler is ‘a psychotic Richard Simmons,’ so a little different than the standard portrayal. Sam and Dean are going to fight Hitler, and that’s opening up some interesting doors for us in terms of just doing some more crazy stuff.”

Jared Padalecki (Sam) and Jensen Ackles (Dean) were spotted all over Vancouver last week, dealing with everything from car chases to parking garages. If you wait until the very last seconds of Rose’s vlog (see video below), you can see the actor on the Supernatural set (although he carefully avoided any distinguishing markers).

Supernatural will return to The CW on Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. ET.
