'Young and the Restless' (Y&R) Spoilers: Phyllis & Billy Are Confronted About Their Rekindled Affair [VIDEO]
Neither one was in attendance at Adam's memorial, and now, as suspicions continue to arise about the nature of their relationship, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) could find themselves being confronted about their rekindled affair on The Young and the Restless.
Phyllis put the brakes on their affair initially after Billy's mother Jill (Jess Walton) learned about it and blackmailed her with the threat of telling Jack (Peter Bergmann) the truth and blowing up Phyllis' marriage as a result. However, after a fight over why she wouldn't attend the memorial, she found herself back in Billy's arms, and the two had sex at the cabin. Now, both will find themselves in heated and emotional discussions with both Jack and Jill as they are confronted about spending the time they have together.
Jill will tackle her son because she's pissed he backed out of the Seattle trip she had planned for him and Victoria (Amelia Heinle), encouraging his ex-wife to bring Travis (Michael Roark) along instead, and when she also adds that he wasn't present at the memorial, he will dare her to say what she thinks he was doing instead.
"What do you think I was doing today?" He asks in a preview clip for the Friday, September 9 episode.
"You were sneaking around with Phyllis!" Jill replies.
The two will continue bickering about the situation, as Billy maintains that he is in love with her, and Jill berates him because sleeping with his brother's wife will tear their family apart. The situation could get so heated however that it could begin to affect Jill's health.
Meanwhile, Jack will pull Phyllis aside to have a conversation with her, and he will tell her he believes she's been so distant with him and so close to Billy because he thinks she still sees Marco when she looks at him, and he will beg her not to give up on them because she can't get past the hurt she felt from that set-up. Phyllis will then tell Jack she's been lying to him, and will possibly decide to finally come clean with the truth.
The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
