On Wednesday night, ABC's Modern Family delivered its fans another exciting episode, which was titled Career Day.
The installment featured the likes of Phil (Ty Burrell) sharing the details of his career in real estate with Luke (Nolan Gould) and Manny's (Rico Rodriguez) class. However, Gil Thorpe (Rob Riggle) turns up as well, which causes the situation to quickly go awry. To add to the tension, Gil makes Claire (Julie Bowen) an offer to be his liaison with the land commission.
Phil is well aware that Claire would like to hop back into the career world again, but can't fathom the thought of her working with Gil.
Meanwhile, Gloria (Sofia Vergara) questions Jay's (Ed O'Neill) claims that he's always had aspirations of becoming a novelist, which prompted the latter to take some embarrassing measures. Meanwhile, Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) make a detrimental mistake while conducting their tooth fairy duties.
