Hawaii Five-0 will have to celebrate its 150th episode without the help of Scott Caan.

Danny (Caan) is always conspicuously absent from several episodes per season, and, due to scheduling conflicts, the detective will not appear in season 7's milestone hour.

Showrunner Peter Lenkov confirmed the rumors on Saturday, which Daniel Dae Kim (Chin) and Christine Lahti sparked with a series of set photos.

"Unfortunately he is not [in 150]," Lenkov told fans. "Scheduling conflict that could not be overcome."

Caan addressed his occasional absences while speaking with Post-Gazzette last year.

"I do five episodes less than [series star] Alex [O'Loughlin]," Caan said. "I just do a couple episodes less so I can come home [to Los Angeles] to see my family and stuff. They were cool about it so we just all came to that."

Of course, this in no way means episode 7 will be lacking. Danny's mini vacations always give Hawaii Five-0 a chance to focus on character-driven storylines, and "Ka makuahine a me ke keikikane" (which roughly translate to "Mother and Son") will be no different. Featuring the return of Doris, Catherine (Michelle Borth), Lynn (Sarah Carter), and Wo Fat's father, the November hour will tackle one of McGarrett's personal mysteries. Even though his pseudo brother exited the storyline in the 100th episode, Steve still has plenty of questions about Wo Fat's past. Based on the season 6 finale, it appears Wo Fat's dad has plans to pull Five-0 team into a plot of his own.
