Big Brother host Julie Chen was not particularly happy with James Huling and Nicole Franzel this season.

James and Nicole were huge fan favorites in their original Big Brother seasons, but it seems like the bloom is off the rose, at least in Chen's eyes. The host admitted in a new interview that she was "disappointed" in James and Nicole's gameplay this year, despite both of them making it to the Final 3.

Starting with James, Chen stated that she didn't think he was really playing to win Big Brother 18.

"He really disappointed me in his gameplay," she admitted to The Hollywood Reporter. "He gave away an HoH; he won [only] one. He wasn't as fierce of a competitor. He was just there for shits and giggles, to be honest. Was he playing for 'America's Favorite Houseguest'? No, because that would imply him being a little bit duplicitous or phony. He genuinely likes doing those pranks. He's an all-around nice guy. He was just being him."

As for Nicole, Chen was disappointed in her for a different reason - her new snake-like attitude.

"Nicole disappointed me this year. I guess she's playing the game, but I didn't like how she wasn't loyal to anyone but Corey [Brooks]," she said. "I didn't like her being a snake as Michelle [Meyer] would say."

Chen is much more impressed with Paul Abrahamian, the other member of the Final 3 and the only new player this season who made it to that point.

"My calculations show that no matter who Paul [Abrahamian] is sitting against, he wins," Chen said. "He has at least one more vote than the other person." Will Chen's prediction be right in the end? There's still two more parts of the final HOH competition to play.

Big Brother 18 airs another new episode on Friday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, which will be the last one before Wednesday's season finale, which starts at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
