'American Horror Story' Season 6 Theme: Sarah Paulson Says Fans Will Go 'Nutty Bobo Nut Town' Soon [VIDEO]
There is a big reveal to come on FX's American Horror Story: Roanoke, as Sarah Paulson recently teased.
This entire season of American Horror Story has been shrouded in secrecy, and while two episodes have already aired, there's still a huge surprise coming up soon. Paulson, who plays Shelby Miller in the new season, spoke with Variety recently about a big reveal coming.
"I know something and I can't tell you!" she told the publication. "I have to tease you like that, because you're going to go 'What?!' It's not necessarily connected, but something's happening. Something's happening that people are going to go nuts for. They're going to go nutty bobo nut town."
Paulson's comment about things "not necessarily [being] connected" relates to the concept of all the previous seasons of American Horror Story being connected, with showrunner Ryan Murphy teased. Episode 2 certainly featured some interesting callbacks to season 1, Murder House, with the Piggy Man's big return as well as the inclusion of nurses, which also happened in the season 1 episode "Home Invasion".
Either way, Paulson seems quite excited by what's to come.
"I haven't (filmed) it yet. It hasn't been shot yet," she admitted. "But it's something that will be part of this season."
Paulson also spoke about having to keep up the secrecy for so long, even to the extent of not being able to say she was even involved with season 6.
"For a long time I couldn't even tell people I was doing it," she admitted. "Keeping secrets is hard, especially when you're excited about something. It's hard, but I know why [Ryan] wanted to do it and I think it was really smart. I think it got people really excited."
American Horror Story: Roanoke airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
