'Wynonna Earp' Season 2: What Is Dolls? Shamier Anderson Previews The Truth [VIDEO]
Wynonna Earp's Agent Dolls is hiding a secret so big that even Shamier Anderson doesn't know the truth.
Season 1 introduced viewers to Anderson's stony-faced Black Badge agent, but even as Wynonna's adventures unlocked the backstories of everyone from Bobo (Michael Eklund) to Doc (Tim Rozon), Dolls' past stayed locked up tight. The finale left fans with a deluge of mysteries - tentacle monster? Waverly possessed? - and Dolls' face was covered in question marks as he was hauled away for treason.
Prepare to see some of that punctuation fade away when season 2 dives into Dolls' complex history. To break up the long hiatus, Anderson dropped a few teasers about Doll's seemingly inhuman condition while speaking with Showbiz Junkies.
"I think in season two we'll explore a lot about Dolls, from his origins to who he was before he was an agent, if he was married, had kids," Anderson said. "We've explored Wynonna's background, Doc's background, Bobo Del Rey, Willow...but we haven't really exposed who this person is, why he's here and why he's reacting the way he is. What are these serums that he's popping in?"
While fans all have their theories about the reason for Dolls' little "condition," Anderson is keeping his own ideas under lock and key. Just know that he probably isn't a unicorn.
"Honestly, I want him to be a unicorn. That's my honest opinion. I think Dolls being a unicorn would be the coolest thing on TV," the actor joked. "But, we're still figuring it out. I think even if I knew, I still wouldn't tell you guys. But it's one of those things where I have a hunch, but it will interesting."
Does Black Badge know the truth about their agent? If not, the clandestine branch of the Marshalls will be in for a dangerous surprise when they lock Dolls away...
