'Dancing With the Stars' Season 23: Amber Rose Already Losing Weight From 'DWTS' Experience? [VIDEO]
Amber Rose has already toned up and lost weight while competing on ABC's Dancing With the Stars this fall.
Rose has made it to Week 3 of this season's Dancing With the Stars, and she's now seeing results in her body. The curvaceous celebrity spoke on her Loveline With Amber Rose podcast last week about having already lost weight.
"I'm sore as hell from 'Dancing with the Stars'," Rose said on Thursday's episode. "I feel like I'm getting super toned. I feel like I lost probably 10 lbs., maybe 8 lbs. already."
Rose did admit that she was having the time of her life on DWTS, even though it can be tough, physically.
"It's serious," she explained. "People don't understand how much work goes into it. You're with your partner four to five hours a day. Then you get home, you're on the phone with them, like, what you need to work on, what you need to do. Then you go to the ballroom and it's all the other celebrities and other dancers-it really is like a family."
Rose and her pro dancing partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy have not proven themselves to be frontrunners thus far in the competition, as they are tied for second to last on the overall leaderboard. They are tied with Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvtinsev at the moment, with only Rick Perry and Emma Slater below them.
For their first dance, Rose and Chmerkovskiy danced a sultry foxtrot to the song "Here" by Alessia Cara, but the judges gave her a measly 24 out of 40 (all sixes). They suffered the exact same fate in Week 2 when they danced a Viennese waltz to the Game of Thrones theme song, receiving all sixes from the judges again.
Tonight's episode features the Face-Off, with couples set to compete against each other for immunity from elimination. Rose and Chmerkovskiy will be competing against McCormick and Chigvintsev. Both of them will dance the salsa and the judges will decide which couple performed best and grant them immunity.
Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
