She has been lying about the father of her baby in order to protect the child from the man she knows can be dangerous, but even Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) will be stunned when the paternity test Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) ordered has results no one expected on Days of Our Lives.

Chloe and Phillip (John Paul Lavoisier) have been lying about him being the father of her baby, something Deimos has never really believed, and he finally took action to prove his suspicions correct by getting a court-ordered paternity test. Panicked that their lie would be exposed, Phillip and Chloe sought out Kate (Lauren Koslow) for help, and after initially refusing to help them, decided to then do so because she helped the doctor once before and he owed her a favor.

Now, Phillip and Chloe are confident the test results will come back stating that Phillip is the baby's father, which will keep Deimos off their backs and allow them to keep up their lie and keep the baby safe. But the two didn't account for the fact that Kate did want to get one over on Deimos, but also has strong disapproval for Chloe and doesn't want her with Phillip.

The results will come in, and initially Phillip and Chloe will be ecstatic when they learn that the test says Deimos is not the father of her baby. But their joy will be short-lived however when the doctor also claims Phillip isn't the baby's father either, and the two will see their lie blown up again anyway, as Phillip will need to react like he is heartbroken that Chloe slept with another man in addition to Deimos during a time they claimed they were dating-and Chloe will have to deal with the stigma that comes from not knowing who her baby's father is, even though she only slept with Deimos.

Now, chaos will erupt for all three, and Kate will be smugly satisfied that she not only managed to get in a scheme at Deimos' expense, but also one which could destroy Chloe as well.
