Fans eagerly await CW's The Vampire Diaries season 4 finale, as they are surely dying to know what the fallout will be from its previous episode, titled The Walking Dead.

According to iDigital Times, its upcoming Graduation episode will feature the town of Mystic Falls being overran by ghosts on the day of graduation. While the high school alumni attempt to obtain their diplomas and head across the academic stage, the ghosts will apparently be "intent on settling old scores."

Although some of the town residents may be innocent bystanders, Vampire Diaries' loyalists will undoubtedly be concerned for Caroline (Candice Accola) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder), who have seemed to have stirred up trouble throughout the years.

Since Damon has made a slew of enemies over the past few seasons, it seems more likely that he'll be facing the most harmful of consequences at the hands of the ghosts.

The CW network posted the episode's synopsis on April 24, and it stated the following:

"On Graduation Day, Mystic Falls is overrun with ghosts intent on settling old scores. Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) life is in danger after a ghostly encounter, while Matt (Zach Roerig) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) join together to battle a ghost that's determined to find the cure. Finally, Stefan (Paul Wesley) discovers a horrifying clue to the mystery surrounding Silas."

The Vampire Diaries will be airing its Graduation finale, on Thursday, May 9 at 8/7c.
