'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 61 Updates: Black Goku - Zamasu Fusion Confirmed, Super Saiyan Green To Make Debut Soon? [VIDEO]
With the ongoing run of the Future Trunks arc, Dragon Ball Super has easily become one of the most compelling anime of this 2016. What was once considered as the weakest entry in the Dragon Ball franchise after the less-than-stellar Dragon Ball GT has now emerged as an anime that probably will rival Dragon Ball Z in its quality.
Dragon Ball Super Episode 61 Preview
One thing that is definitely noticeable about the preview to Episode 61 are scenes that seemed to pertain to Zamasu and Black Goku undergoing some sort of fusion. Such an event has actually been teased since the beginning of the Future Trunks arc, when fans noticed that both characters were wearing green Potara earrings.
A rematch between the two villains and the heroes was also teased, with Son Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks once more crossing fists with Zamasu, who has an immortal body and Black Goku, who has transformed into Super Saiyan Rose. Unlike their previous skirmish, however, the rematch against the evil duo appeared to be far less one-sided than before.
Dragon Ball Super Episode 61 Predictions
Fans of the popular anime have given their predictions about the upcoming episode, which many believe would feature a much-speculated fusion between the two evil characters. What is particularly daunting about this notion is the fact that these two characters are already overpowered on their own. Once fused, Zamasu and Black Goku's power would be downright ridiculous.
Then again, in classic Dragon Ball fashion, numerous fans are also speculating that the anime would debut a new Super Saiyan form on the next episode. It might be somewhat predictable, but a new Super Saiyan form has always been a plot device used by the Dragon Ball franchise as a way for the heroes to triumph against a seemingly unbeatable opponent.
Thus, it would not be surprising at all if Dragon Ball Super would introduce a completely new transformation, possibly a Super Saiyan Green form, in order to serve as an antithesis of Black Goku and Zamasu's fused form.
