Fans of the CBS hit show How I Met Your Mother are surely aware that Robin's (Cobie Smulders) father always wanted to have a son, as he gave her the name RJ.

While a teenager, Robin was forced to learn how to hunt per her Dad's request. However, aside from her tomboyish upbringing, she somehow still managed to keep her romantic side.

In Monday's Something Old, Robin addressed a teenage moment that occurred in New York City during a visit with her father.

In her youth, she had uttered the following words during her Big Apple visit:

"One day, I'm going to move here, marry a sophisticated big city man with a sick mullet, like all the way down to his shoulder pads. And at night, he'll let me brush it, and I'll dig up this locket so it can be my 'something old' at our wedding."

While many loyalists are surely hoping that Robin's wedding with Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) will go through as planned, it still hasn't been confirmed that the ceremony will occur this season.
