He had vowed revenge after learning of his wife's affair with his brother, but now, Jack's (Peter Bergmann) plot to potentially attack Newman and Victor (Eric Braden) will cause some concern among those who worry about how far he's really willing to go on The Young and the Restless.

While Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) were the ones who conducted an affair, a part of Jack is blaming Victor because of the Marco scheme, which he believes caused Phyllis to seek out companionship with Billy, because she couldn't bring herself to be with Jack anymore since he reminded her too much of Marco. Now, the fact that he's been researching Newman will come to Summer's (Hunter King) notice, and she will demand answers from her soon to be ex-stepfather and want to know why he's spying on her grandfather and his company.

"Is there something I can help you with?" He asks Summer in a preview clip for the Friday, October 7 episode.

"Why are you researching Newman Enterprises?" Summer demands.

Jack will insist it's just about business to try and quell her suspicions, but Summer won't buy it, and she may share her doubts with Phyllis. Her mother however will also be dealing with the fact that Victor also suspects something, and is coming to her to warn her that Jack better stay away from him.

"Talk about clean hands. How dirty are your husband's hands?" He says to Phyllis in the clip.

After his threats, and Summer's concerns, Phyllis herself will decide to look into things and head back to Jabot and Jack's office. And when she goes on his computer, she will be stunned by what she sees, because she'll realize that Jack may be planning to start a new Newman-Abbott war, and this time, it could be the biggest one yet.

The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
