Netflix has raised the bar on TV programming with its Internet hit House of Cards, which can be accessed from anywhere at anytime. The cast and crew are currently in the midst of shooting its highly anticipated Season 2.

According to Salon, star of the hit series Kevin Spacey (Francis Underwood) spoke about the upcoming season, hinting to the show's viewers that it will grow increasingly suspenseful.

"We're a week into shooting Season 2 and it's going to get really interesting," he explained.

When Spacey was queried to elaborate on what he meant by his statement, he jokingly gave a fair warning.

"I could, but then I would have to kill you all."

House of Cards writer Beau Willimon had previously elaborated to The New York Times on the creative brass' unorthodox approach to the show.

"We approached this creativity as a 13-hour movie. Knowing we had two full seasons in advance, I didn't feel the pressure to sell the end of each episode with the superficial cliffhangers or shock tactics in order to keep coming back, in order to jack up the ratings week to week," he said.

iDigital Times previously reported that Netflix is currently in the midst of sorting out an airdate for House of Cards so that it doesn't conflict with its next project, Arrested Development.
