To the disappointment of its loyalists, CW's hit TV series The Vampire Diaries will bring its fourth season to a close next Thursday. However, the finale won't go out without its fair share of drama.

Judging by the new extended trailer that's now out, it appears as though they'll be an love admission from Damon (Ian Somerhalder), a potential heart-wrenching goodbye, and a first kiss.

The teaser video also features Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) as the leader of the dead, who will be present at the Mystic Falls High school graduation looking for vengeance.

Also, three resurrected vampire hunters (Vaughn, Connor, and Alexander) are once again at it about their hunters' fate. The three have no other care in the world except to cure Silas (Scott Parks) so they could kill him. With the help of Qetsiyah, who has yet to be seen, they may actually have the upper hand.

In terms of romance, Matt (Zach Roerig) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) will have their first lip-lock while Damon professes to Elena that he "don't care about anyone else" but her.

The Vampire Diaries will be airing its Graduation episode on Thursday, May 16 at 8/7c. Keep checking back for more of the latest details on the show. The new extended promo can be viewed below.
