'Revenge' Season 2 Spoilers, Finale: a 'Heartbreaking Death' Following an Explosion & Victoria Talks 'Deceit' with Emily Thorne {VIDEO/PHOTOS]
The season 2 finale of ABC's Revenge airs Sunday and viewers will see someone die in a huge explosion that will rock Emily Thorne's world and force her to rethink the path of revenge she has embarked on.
In the first hour of the two-part finale - titled Truth, Part One - a series of events take place putting everyone's life at risk.
"A certain love interest" will also be left behind "and devastated," and whoever dies "will set up a new (previously unscathed) character for his or her quest for vengeance." according to Unreality TV. It is unclear which character will go on this new quest, but the promo video for the finale (shown below) features Emily with a gun.
There will be an explosion in the first hour at Grayson Global that destroys a taxi cab outside the building. In a sneek peek video for the episode, Victoria Grayson also talks to Emily about living a life of deceit, and one day waking up feeling "hollow" with nothing but "regret and misery to fill your days." She also says they have more in common than either one of them are willing to admit.
The official synopsis for part one reads: "The second season of Revenge culminates in a special two-hour finale event with two back-to-back episodes filled with high octane and life changing moments... A series of dangerous events has been set in motion and it all comes to a head in one catastrophic moment that will change everyone's lives forever."
The second hour will show how the characters deal with the aftermath of the devastation, and its official synopsis states: "In the emotional second hour, Truth, Part Two (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET), the devastation leads to a heartbreaking death that will send shockwaves down the shoreline and force Emily to take a hard look at the truth and the path of revenge she has embarked on."
Photos from the part-two episode show Conrad Grayson addressing the press following the explosion, and Daniel Grayson and Aidan Mathius getting into a physical arguement at the scene - though it is unknown about what. Daniel then hugs Emily, who has her face stained with dirt, perhaps hinting that she was involved in the explosion that took place.
