'Fuller House' Season 2 Trailer: DJ Decides, Stephanie's Shocking Romance & More Surprise Reveals [VIDEO]
The trailer for Season 2 of Fuller House has officially dropped and the newest batch of episodes seems to be gearing up for a holiday-themed season, but there will definitely be plenty of surprises in store for the Fullers, Tanners and yes, the Gibblers.
Season one saw DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) decide not to pursue a relationship with either Steve (Scott Weinger) or Matt (John Brotherton) until she could figure out which one she wanted to be with more, but now it appears that she's ready to decide. However, unfortunately for her, the two men decided not to wait on her any longer.
"I finally made a decision between Matt and Steve," she says in the trailer.
However, she winds up crushed only moments later, when she learns that both Steve and Matt moved on without her, and the tragedy of the situation doesn't go unnoticed by either Kimmy (Andrea Barber) or Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin).
"We both have girlfriends!" Steve announces.
"Wow, I'm so happy for you guys," DJ replies.
"That poor thing is a Lifetime movie waiting to happen," Kimmy observes.
However, it does look as if though Matt will eventually wind up with DJ after all, as he is also featured throughout the clip during moments with her family, and even cuddles with her sons at one point as well.
Meanwhile, Stephanie's love life will also take an interesting turn, after she meets a guy she likes and kisses him, only to be horrified when she learns he's related to Kimmy.
"I just kissed a Gibbler?" She asks.
"You just kissed a Tanner?" Kimmy asks her brother.
"EW!" Both women cry out.
Of course, no trailer or season of the show would be complete without the reappearance of several members of the Tanner family, as they all start to make their way back home again for the holidays, like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Michelle is once again MIA (it's unclear if the absence will be explained as it was in Season one), and it doesn't appear as if Nicky and Alex show up again either. However, Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (Dave Coulier), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) and Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin) will all be present.
Fuller House season 2 drops on Netflix December 9.
