Although it's still a significant amount of time away from its fall return, fans of The Walking Dead continue to scour the web for the latest news on their favorite zombie thriller series.

The AMC hit TV show is currently in the midst of filming its fourth season, and is set to introduce several new storylines.

However, speculation over Rick and the prison group's potential move to a brand new location has many loyalists wondering where they will ultimately end up.

While he didn't completely clarify the location chatter, comic book writer/executive producer Robert Kirkman did speak to TVLine about it.

"There's always going to be new locations and new places to discover and explore. I don't want to reveal too much; Season 4 is still five months away. But I will say that as we see at the end of Season 3 we're definitely going to start Season 4 at the prison," he said.

"We may be there the whole season and we may not be... But there are going to be some big differences from Season 3," Kirkman continued.

The Walking Dead is set to make its return on Sunday, October 14 at 9/8 p.m. Central on the AMC network.
