CW's The Vampire Diaries is now just a couple days away from it's highly anticipated Season 4 finale, which has its loyalists feeling bittersweet. On one hand, the vampire show will be going on a hiatus upon the episode's close. However, it will also serve to resolve many of the questions that fans have been itching to find out.
One of the most popular issues involves Elena's (Nina Dobrev) intentions with each of the Salvatore brothers.
According to Wet Paint, Dobrev feels as though her controversial character should have some time on her own, but she'll actually be doing the complete opposite.
Not one to go completely mum on her fans, TVD executive producer Julie Plec told Give Me My Remote on April 17 that Elena's feelings for Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will indeed be addressed by the season's end.
"It will revitalize the triangle for sure, and as far as the Elena and Damon information, I think what it will do is cement their relationship - or lack thereof - once she comes clean with a sense of at least semi-permanence, if not permanence," she explained.
