After closing out Season 4 on May 9, Fox's Glee is now looking forward to its next two installments, as the network has renewed the TV musical series for a fifth and sixth season. While not much is know on what lies ahead for the McKinley High alumni, the series will reportedly be changing its story arc.

According to TVLine, the TV brass over at Fox have a "creative twist" planned following their return for their fifth season. To top it off, the Season 5 happenings will reportedly be spilling over into next summer's episodes.

"Glee will a midseason break before returning in late spring with what Reilly called a 'creative twist.' Season 5 will then spill over into the summer."

In other Glee happenings, reports have surfaced on the possible exit of Heather Morris' (Brittany), who is pregnant in real-life. Due to the fact that she's yet to resign a contract, many fans are expecting her not to return next season.

While fans were initially concerned that Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) could potentially be making her exit, she had recently taken to Twitter to inform her followers that she'll still be playing a significant part in Season 5.
