Bethenny Frankel Jason Hoppy Divorce Underway But He Still Wears His Wedding Ring [VIDEO]
Jason Hoppy was seen wearing his wedding ring while out with his daughter Bryn on Monday in New York’s Tribeca area, despite the fact that he is in the midst of divorce proceedings with his ex-wife Bethenny Frankel.
Although the former Real Housewives of New York star seems eager to let go of her marriage to Hoppy, he was seen this week smiling with his daughter and wearing the ring, Radar Online reported.
Frankel had spoken publicly about their marriage and divorce, but her ex-husband refuses to criticize Frankel in front of the media.
“Jason was stung by the comments Bethenny made to People magazine about their marriage… However, Jason refuses to talk negatively about Bethenny in the press,” said an insider.
Hoppy's friends said they “understand and respect his approach in handling the divorce and are just disgusted by Bethenny’s antics."
"She is having a temper tantrum… and she wants him to give up custody of their daughter, and move out of their Tribeca loft," the insider added.
Frankel said in a previous interview that she regrets having been married to her ex-husband. The couple filed divorce papers in January and Frankel told People that the best thing that came out of their union was her daughter Bryn. The two have both asked for full custody of the 3-year-old.
While Frankel said she had initially thought the marriage wouldn’t work out, she decided to go through with it, and that getting divorced was in the end the best decision.
