HBO's hit vampire series True Blood is now just a little over a month away from kicking off its sixth season. Although there hasn't been much info given out on the Macklyn character that actor Rutger Hauer is playing, new pictures revealing his look and attire have now surfaced.

Macklyn is described as a "mysterious and sinister figure with deep ties to Sookie and Jason," according to Wet Paint.

In one of the still photos, the shady character can be seen in a gray, striped suit jacket with a pipe hanging from his lips.

In the second pic, Macklyn can be seen corresponding with Jason (Ryan Kwanten), who is decked out in his police attire, as the two appear to be hooking each others' arms.

The third photo features Jason donning a brown blazer over his police uniform with a rifle in his hands while the fourth pic shows a medium close up of Macklyn in a darker suit with a concerned look on his face.

True Blood will only be airing 10 episodes this season as opposed to its usual 12. It's set to make its return on June 16 on the HBO network.
