Just off the heels of a Season 2 renewal announcement, CW's Beauty and the Beast will look to end its freshman season off in a positive way on Thursday night. While most fans are excited for what's to come in the following season, they're also itching to find just how out the resolution of the first unfolds.

According to Carter Matt, romance, a couple of surprises and a teaser is on the menu for the finale episode, which is titled Never Turned Back.

Vincent (Jay Ryan) will also find it difficult to cope with Gabe (Sendhi Ramamurthy). Ryan spoke to TV Guide about Vincent's decreased strength, and the rationale behind his military regimen.

"Now that Vincent has been taking medication his strength is weakened ... So at the beginning of the fight he doesn't have his beast qualities and he has to refer back to his military training."

In a sneak peek clip of the episode, Gabe can be seen prepping for his confrontation with Vincent, coming to the realization that it's his only chance for self-preservation, according to the site.
