‘Arrow’ Season 5 Episode 8 Spoilers: 100th Episode Set Return Of Deathstroke, Also Part Of Epic Crossover
"The Flash" Season 3 Episode 8 will begin the epic superheroes crossover event next week. The continuation of the story will be featured in "Arrow" Season 5 Episode 8 which also is the show's 100th episode.
According to Christian Today, the first part of "Arrow" Season 5 Episode 8 will show the crossover between "The Flash, " "Supergirl," and "Legends of Tomorrow." It will show Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and the "Legends of Tomorrow" cast as they fight off the aliens called the Dominators who are planning to invade Earth.
In the second part of the episode, Oliver (Stephen Amell) wakes up in a different timeline. In this reality, his parents are both alive and he is now engaged to Lance (Katie Cassidy). Eventually, he would realize that something is not right about this world just like "flashpoint" which happened in the earlier episode of "The Flash" Season 3. While Oliver is stuck in the other reality, Felicity (Emily Brett Rickards) and the rest of Team Arrow will continue to work with The Flash (Barry Allen) and Supergirl in order to defeat the aliens.
According to iTech Post, "Arrow" Season 5 Episode 8 will also feature the return of Deathstroke (Manu Bennett) and viewers can expect that he would be back with a vengeance. The conflict between Oliver and Deathstroke/ Slade Wilson began during Season 1 and now that he is back in Season 5, things will get ugly for Oliver. Viewers will have to watch how the first villain will affect Oliver after he goes inside an alternate reality.
Talking with TVLine,, Amell said that the crossover event next week would be totally different from the crossovers the show has did before. He said that the crossover episode will feature present-day storyline and not as part of past events.
"Arrow" Season 5 Episode 8 titled "Invasion!" is the continuation of "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 8 and it will air on The CW on Nov. 30.
