‘Arrow’ Season 5 Spoilers: A Wedding In The 100th Episode; No Olicity Marriage But Oliver Says ‘I Do’ To Someone Else? [WATCH]
On Wednesday, Nov. 30, "Arrow" season 5, episode 8 will be aired. This 100th episode of the series has been making a buzz since a few of old characters will be back in Star City. With old pals, a wedding, and the Flash and Supergirl, how chaotic can this episode be?
Laurel Lance is back, along with Moira and Robert Queen and Ray Palmer. In this special "Arrow" season 5 episode, a wedding might happen. However, it won't be between Oliver and Felicity. So, who is getting married?
In a synopsis posted by TV Line, the marriage angle of the upcoming episode happens in a parallel reality, where Oliver's subconscious, or his entire self, is in. Oliver wakes up in a different Star City. His parents are alive and he is engaged to Laurel. Also, Ray Palmer is back and cozying up with Felicity, as well. According to the summary, the alternate universe or the dream Oliver's in might be an effect of the invasion of aliens known as Dominators.
Aside from the summary for the "Arrow" season 5, 100th episode, there are also promotional pictures released by the CW compiled in You Tube. In some of the still shots, Laurel can be seen wearing a wedding gown, which led many to believe that they are about to see her and Oliver exchanging 'I do's.'
So, will the former couple tie the knot? Based on one of the pictures, it appears that Oliver would cancel the wedding. Perhaps, he is sensing that there's something that does not fit in the current reality he's been sucked into. At the same time, a picture of Laurel shows a not-so-happy bride.
While, Oliver is preoccupied in the different life, Felicity and the rest of the team will have to deal with a new danger. The Flash and Supergirl will help out the new recruits in this assignment.
