Just off the heels of its well-received Season 1 finale, dirt pertaining to The CW's Beauty and The Beast's second season has already begun to make its way onto the Internet.

According to E! Online, the Season 2 theme for BaTB will be to drive Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) further apart from one another.

"Our show is going to go through a lot of changes next year. There's so much that's been changed up, which I think is great," said Kreuk.

Executive producer of the TV series Jennifer Levin also gave her take on the ever so changing dynamic between Cat and Vincent, and the difficulties they'll be facing in the relationship.

"We spent this season really bonding Cat and Vincent, and they are so strong together. I think next year we want to put some obstacles in their way and really challenge their relationship, so that's what we've been talking about, how to do that."

Ryan also spoke to the site, and elaborated on the wishes he had for Vincent moving forward, which included venturing into his family's past.

"I want Vincent to delve into his past. I want to meet some people from his family, people that he didn't get to say goodbye to and really get to know that old Vincent and bring those people into his life and Catherine's."

No official airdate has been announced for the start of Beauty and The Beast Season 2 as of yet. Keep checking back for more of the latest details on the show.
