Kanye West is scheduled to make an appearance on this week's Saturday Night Live episode but it doesn't sound as if he is too thrilled with the prospect.

According to USA Today, West, who will be the musical guest, doesn't want to appear in any skits.

"I'm trying to make some music that inspires people to be the best they can be," the rapper said. "I don't want nobody to ask NOTHING ELSE OF ME. Don't ask nothing else of me. .... nah I ain't doing no (bleeping) SNL skits ... this my ... life. This ain't no (bleeping) joke. That's it."

A new promo video shows a scowling West standing alongside Affleck and Fred Armisen. He looks particularly unamused when wearing a giant band-aid, an obvious reference to last weekends failed paparazzi avoidance.

Ben Affleck will host this week's episode. Watch a preview below:

While he may be dating one of reality TV's biggest stars, West would prefer to be left alone and he had no problem expressing that desire in an outburst at the May 15 Adult Swim upfronts.

"I don't want nobody trying to run up on me with no cameras, trying to sell pictures and sh-- to magazines, asking me no dumbass questions, throwing me off of my focus ..." West ranted, according to the USA Today. "Harassing you all (bleeping) day. I ain't no (bleeping) celebrity."

While West maybe still be smarting from his run in with his camera toting foes, hopefully he won't spoil the season finale of SNL.
