The Voice saw a shake up in coaches this season, but it appears that the coaches who launched the show back in 2011 will all be back for the fifth season next fall, according to Entertainment Weekly. However, current coaches Shakira and Usher will be back on the show when the spring season rolls around.

In the first season, The Voice Coaches included Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine. However, according to Reuters, Green and Aguilera each departed at the end of season four in order to focus on their own music careers. Brought in to replace them were Shakira and Usher.

"This show thrives on the ability of our coaches to continue to balance their enormous music careers with working on 'The Voice' to coach some of the best undiscovered talent in America," stated executive producer Mark Burnett, according to EW.

The show has grown to be the top rated program on the NBC network.

"The coaching panel of Christina, Cee Lo, Adam and Blake was at the heart of this show in its first three seasons and we are so lucky to have found equal success with Shakira and Usher in season four.," Burnett stated. "Our best seasons are ahead of us."

The Voice currently airs on NBC in the Monday and Tuesday 8 p.m. slot.
