She extended an offer to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to become CEO of Forrester with a dual purpose of finally making strides towards the family accepting her and getting her granddaughter-in-law to reconsider a romance with Wyatt (Darin Brooks), but Quinn's (Rena Sofer) offer is only bringing more problems on The Bold and the Beautiful.

No one has really accepted the offer, with mixed reactions that she is either trying to manipulate Steffy to so as she wishes, or just that she is simply making a mistake because Steffy isn't right for the job.

Rick (Jacob Young) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) believe that Steffy isn't as qualified as either of them, and it not right for the position for that reason, and will complain to one another about the fact that Steffy could be bossing around both of them, when they each feel they should be calling the shots.

"Why aren't you more enthusiastic? Why aren't you more supportive?" Rick asks his brother in a preview clip for the Tuesday, Dec. 13 episode.

"Because it's not her time," Ridge replies. "I should be CEO."

Meanwhile, Liam (Scott Clifton) is worried that the offer is entirely a plot on Quinn's part to manipulate Steffy and get her back with Wyatt, even though the two are in the process of divorcing and she has once again returned to being with him and pursuing their relationship. Convinced that Quinn will find some way to break them apart again, he will warn Steffy to make sure she watches out for herself, and doesn't ever trust in Quinn's judgment.

"You don't get who she is or what she's done," Liam says in the clip. "And for God's sake don't underestimate her."
