HBO's Game of Thrones continues to raise the bar in terms of high quality cable programming. On Sunday night, it did just that yet again with its Second Sons episode.

Davos demanded more details on the Gendry's bloodline while The Hound was shown a lot more. However, the latter may not be around for to long, as Arya is looking to ambush him when he sleeps, but may finally get to see her brother and mother again thanks to him.

Gendry was brought to Stannis by Melisandre, and will now be given up for the God of Light, as his livelihood appears to have seen better days.

Meanwhile, Daenrys and her army contemplate going to war with an army that was hired by the town she hoped to overtake. Daario is the chosen one to murder her, but after sneaking into her tent, it's revealed that he killed Mero and the other Second Sons commander, soon committing his allegiance to Daenrys.

"My sword is yours, my life is yours, my heart is yours," Daario said.

Next up for Game of Thrones will be The Rains of Castamere episode, which is set to air on Sunday, May 26 on the HBO network. A promo trailer for the respective installment can be watched below.
