She headed off to Chicago to try and convince Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) to come back to Salem, but after Nicole (Arianne Zucker) herself fails to return to town, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) will both begin to worry on Days of Our Lives.

A snowstorm had threatened to come in and prevent Nicole from getting back, but her call to Deimos where she said she was headed back has caused him worry that she got caught in the storm and could be hurt, a concern Brady will also have. And as the worry grows, Brady will take it upon himself to find her.

However, what neither one of them realizes is that Nicole is still with Chloe, and the two were on their way to the hospital when the snowstorm stranded them instead at a motel-and Chloe is currently in labor.

The situation is more surreal than Nicole could ever imagine, because she doesn't know the truth-the baby Chloe is carrying is actually the one that belongs to her and her dead fiance Daniel, after she visited the doctor once again without telling Nicole. However, while Nicole has been involved with Deimos, Chloe has sworn she won't let the child be in harm's way-and Deimos is a dangerous man.

But, as she prepares to give birth, Chloe may start to have a change of heart, and could instead decide the time to come clean to Nicole has arrived, and after the baby girl is born, she will hand the baby to Nicole, prepared to tell her the truth-but tragedy could strike which keeps her from telling the truth.
