Every year end sees expert analysts sharing their views on the entertainment and video gaming industry, and this year it isn't different. Bethesda's highly anticipated Elder Scrolls VI, the sequel to massively successful Elder Scrolls franchise, has also been touched upon.

According Games Industry, when it comes to predictions about the video gaming industry, Michael Pachter, an all time popular analyst, has said that it is highly possible that Elder Scrolls VI can be released, or at least teased in the new year.

Ever since the statement, the internet has become divided into hoping that the game is indeed arriving on 2017. Some believe that it is possible, while some believe that Half Life 3 must be released sooner. Arguably, Elder Scrolls and Half Life series are vehemoths in the gaming industry and would probably command the market as soon as they are announced.

While it brings very interesting speculations to the table, there is reason to believe that the sixth installment in the Elder Scrolls series would not be arriving in 2017. Betheseda has just finished releasing Fallout 4 and still is in the process of releasing constant updates and mods for the game. It would be too soon for them to jump into another AAA project.

Giving the benefit of the doubt to Bethesda, some Elder Scrolls VI rumors suggest that the studio might want to work a little more before releasing the game, as it took nearly five and a half years to release Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Though, the analysts have predicted several other things, like the increase of VR gaming, and that mobile gaming would slowly become a formidable market, gaining as much as $40 billion. The analysts have also predicted that the Nintendo Switch would start stong is sales, but lack of third party support would create problems for the console.

However, the most explosive topic of discussion has to be the Elder Scrolls VI news about its release or tease in 2017. Stay tuned for more updates.
