'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Spoilers: Rick And Ezekiel Unite To Fight Negan; Sasha Might Bid Her Final Goodbye [VIDEO]
AMC's zombie apocalypse serial drama thriller, The Walking Dead, is soon to return on televisions and fans just could not wait for it any longer. The midseason finale left some questions that need answers and viewers are hoping for more mind-boggling scenes on the next episodes for the seventh season.
Several spoilers and speculations have appeared online since the series ended the airing of its midseason finale on December. It has been hinted that fans are going to see a slightly different turning out of events in the next few episodes that they are surely going to watch out for.
According to a report from Comic Book, as viewers and followers of the series already know, The Walking Dead has been following the plot from the book, although not entirely. This is why it has been hugely speculated that some major scenes from the book will mostly be expected to happen on the second part of the current season.
As per the source, one of the anticipated events to occur will be the meeting between Rick Grimes, portrayed by actor Andrew Lincoln, and Ezekiel, played by actor Khary Payton. Rick, being the leader of most group of survivors and Ezekiel being the self-proclaimed leader of a community known as Kingdom, have been said to be merging their allies upon meetup and join forces to fight off the villain Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
The two characters have never really met on the series. So, it is speculated that their upcoming meetup will change the course of the show's characters and storyline.
Aside from this, a report from iDigital Times also suggest that one character might bid goodbye on the second part of season 7. Sasha Williams, portrayed by actress Sonequa Martin-Green, is said to follow the character from the comic book, Holly, who ended up sacrificing herself during a war against Negan.
It is reported that Sasha might have the same fate as Holly. In relation to this, Martin-Green had apparently landed a role on the new Star Trek television series, which might be a sign that she will really be having her farewell in the AMC series.
The Walking Dead season 7 is expected to return on February 2017 on AMC.
