The new season of Once Upon A Time is due to begin shooting July 12, but showrunners Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis already know which characters will be front and center.

"Plenty of Regina stuff being planned," Horowitz tweeted Tuesday to an exasperated fan seeking next season spoilers.

Regina (Lana Parrilla) was last seen at the end of season 2 boarding the Jolly Roger on a quest to rescue Henry, with Prince Charming, Snow White, Emma, Rumpelstiltskin and Hook in tow. She's always been one of the show's main focuses and fans can rest assured she's not going anywhere.

Her traveling companions have not one, but two sets of adversaries amongst them -- Snow White and Regina, and Rumpelstiltskin and Hook. However, Horowitz believes this dynamic can lead to even more interesting plots and drama for the show.

"Just because you want the same thing, doesn't mean you agree on the methods," Horowitz told Entertainment Weekly. "And that's going to be some of the drama there. Despite the fact that they all want to save Henry, they have a long and difficult history with each other that they need to deal with."

In other news, the departure of actress Meghan Ory ended a potential romance between her character Ruby and Dr. Whale (David Anders).

"I know they were talking about exploring a relationship between us," said Anders at the upfronts for the USA network (Anders now stars in the drama Necessary Roughness). "But Meghan just got her own show! So there's that. But I'm so, so proud of her."

Ory will be starring in the new CBS show Intelligence, opposite Lost actor Josh Holloway. She hinted that viewers may see Ruby again in the future, saying, "She never died so she'll be somewhere."

As for his own status on the show, Anders only answered, "I know I'll be back, but I can't speak to in what capacity."

Once Upon A Time will return in the fall Thursdays at 8 p.m.
