This week's Friday Night Smackdown from Omaha, Neb., is still dealing with the fall out from Sunday's Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

The show taped on Tuesday but will not air on television until Friday.

The biggest news out of the event was that the entire Shield left with belts: Deam Ambrose won the United States Championship from Kofi Kingston, while Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns took the Tag Team Championship off of Team Hell No.

Monday Night Raw saw the introduction of the newest Paul Heyman guy, Curtis Axel. However, with Raw's ambiguous ending -- a disoriented Triple H stumbling about the arena -- there's still much to learn about him.

The Friday's Smackdown began with another episode of MizTV, with special guests Fandango and his dance partner Summer Rae. The episode was interrupted by InterContinental champion Wade Barrett; though Barrett seemed to turn most of his attention toward goading the dancer, he was put in a match to defend his title against the Miz.

*Miz defeats Wade Barrett:

Due to outside interference from the dancing superstar, who had been working on commentary, the match ended in a Miz victory via a DQ. Barrett retains his title.

*Daniel Bryan (with Kane) defeats Jack Swagger (with Zeb Coulter):

After a new promo by Swagger's "founding father" Zeb Coulter, Bryan defeated Swagger with the Yes Lock. At the crowd's urging, he put the lock on Swagger again until Kane broke the hold. Team Hell No argued their way back to the lockers.

*Chris Jericho defeats Big Show:

After a quick segment hinting at a possible Damien Sandow/Sheamus feud in the future, Y2J squared off against the World's Largest Athlete. Though Big Show was in control for most of the match, Jericho managed to catch him with a Codebreaker outside the ring. Jericho won on a count out by Show.

*Curtis Axel defeats Sin Cara:

Paul Heyman gave a promo on his newest client and touted his success elevating C.M. Punk and Brock Lesnar to the highest echelons of the WWE. Axel then talked about his rough bout on Raw against Triple H on Raw and possibly becoming even more successful than his father, Mr. Perfect, and grandfather, Larry "The Axe" Hennig. Axel started down that road by beating Sin Cara in a routine "new guy" victory, flying spots notwithstanding.

*Kofi Kingston defeats Dean Ambrose:

Kingston invoked his rematch for the title he lost to Ambrose at Extreme Rules. But everyone knows when you fight one Shield member, you fight the entire group. After Rollins and Reigns joined the fight, Sheamus and Randy Orton came in to save Kingston. Teddy Long declared a six man tag match.

*The Shield defeats Randy Orton, Sheamus and Kofi Kingston:

The Shied kept their momentum going and won cleanly as Ambrose got the pin on Kingston. But the real fireworks happened after taping ended. As the Shield attempted to return into the crowd, they were quickly pushed back into the ring by Team Hell No and greeted with a requisite RKO and Brogue Kick, much to the audience's delight.
