'True Blood' Season 6 Spoilers: Does New Promo Poster Indicate That Eric Will Be Biting The Dust? VIDEO & Details
HBO's key artwork for its sixth season of the vampire hit True Blood has its fans itching to find out which one of their favorite vampires will be biting the dust in its upcoming installment.
Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard), who Wet Paint suspects "looks suspiciously like" the vampire on the red poster, has been rumored to be the chosen one for quite some time now. However, no official word has yet to be given.
The TV site stated that "all signs seem to point to Alexander Skarsgard's True Blood exit," which also considers the fact that he's been increasingly involved in the movie scene as of late. The actor is currently starring alongside Julianne Moore in What Maisie Knew.
However, while certain plans for Season 6 are undoubtedly set in stone, others may not be, as it will mark the first season that creator Alan Ball won't be at the showrunner helm. Formerly a writer/producer, Brian Buckler will serve as his replacement.
In other True Blood news, the show will only be airing 10 episodes this season as opposed to its usual 12. It's set to make its return on June 16 on the HBO network.
