‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Spoilers: AMC Drops New Teaser Photos; Rick Ready To Face Negan, Will Ask Help From Kingdom And Hilltop [VIDEO]
After the tragic death of Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) in The Walking Dead Season 7, fans have been waiting for the revenge of Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest his group to Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in the show's return. AMC recently dropped teaser photos of the horror drama television series and from the look of it; they are now ready for war.
According to Entertainment Tonight, there's a great danger waiting to be faced by Rick and his group as they are planning to take Negan down. In fact, in the preparation of its return, the network teased that fans are going to witness an exploration of the world and new survivors to help them fight the evil villain.
The first snap revealed Rick standing on an empty highway while a gun is resting on his waist. It looks the main protagonist is ready to start a fight with Negan in The Walking Dead Season 7 as they are all preparing to gather supplies that could help them.
In the next photo, Rick is seen with Michonne (Danai Gurira), Aaron (Ross Marquand) and Tara (Alanna Masterson) on a fighting position while moving through the brush. Also, there will be a big gathering of the groups from Alexandria and Hilltop. This assembly might involve a planning of how they could beat Negan, Forbes reported.
Meanwhile, AMC also revealed the official synopsis of The Walking Dead Season 7's return. Rick will now realize how big the world is for them. As they all have one purpose, which is to defeat Negan, it will never come easy for them.
Also, it will take more than the people of Alexandria to beat Negan down, thus Rick has to persuade the survivors in the Kingdom and the Hilltop. However, the leader of these groups -- Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and Gregory (Xander Berkeley) - don't want any violence and so, he has to do a lot of talking to convince them. The Walking Dead Season 7 will return on Feb. 12 on AMC.
