AMC's hit zombie thriller, The Walking Dead, has built itself up a massive fan base. Now heading into its fourth season stronger than ever, many fans are surely wondering how many seasons the series has the legs to continue for.

AMC Network CEO Josh Sapan recently told The Hollywood Reporter that the show could very well last another ten years, and it's eventual resolution has yet to be discussed.

"We hope that zombies live forever and we've just begun to find out what the post-apocalyptic world is like. We'll be sitting here... in 2022 discussing the fact that Walking Dead is not over," he said.

In other TWD news, Chad Coleman, who plays the role of Tyreese, recently stated that he feels that a film version of the program will eventually take place.

"I really think a Walking Dead movie is going to be in the works not too far down the road, and I think it's going to take [fans] by storm," he explained.

AMC's The Walking Dead will be kicking off its fourth season on Sunday, October 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central. The cast and crew are currently in production in Griffin, Ga.
