'Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: 'Rigorous Production Schedule' With 'A Heap of Extras' Indicates Zombie Dominance? VIDEO
AMC's The Walking Dead continues to move right along in terms of its Season 4 shooting schedule in Griffin, Ga., as it now reportedly up to its second or third episode.
According to Carter Matt, the program has been running "a pretty rigorous production schedule, and also a heap of extras."
Recently, it had been revealed that the popular series would be re-honing in on the zombie apocalypse as its central conflict going into its upcoming installment. The primary storyline in Season 3 was the surviving humans against each other. More specifically, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the prison group versus the villainous Governor and the town of Woodbury.
In other Walking Dead happenings, AMC Network CEO Josh Sapan recently told The Hollywood Reporter that the show could very well last another decade.
"We hope that zombies live forever and we've just begun to find out what the post-apocalyptic world is like. We'll be sitting here... in 2022 discussing the fact that Walking Dead is not over," he said.
AMC's The Walking Dead will be kicking off its fourth season on Sunday, October 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central. The cast and crew are currently in production in Griffin, Ga.
