Keith Urban still does not know any details surrounding his return to American Idol next season.

In an interview with the Associated Press, the country singer said he does not know who will be on the judge's panel in the upcoming season and has no clue what the show's executives plan to do.

"I have no official information of anything," Urban told AP. "I'm pretty much in the same boat as everybody else here with the rumors that have been floating around. I don't know anything more about what's happening next season."

Urban said that he is confident that the producers will make the right decision.

"It was like this before I signed on ... so it's not unusual for the Idol folks to be in this place of figuring out what they want to do, then they always pull it together," he said.

Last week, The Hollywood Reporter indicated that Oscar winner and former Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson was in talks to feature as a new judge as part of an "all-alumni panel." Rumors also swirled that Season 2 runner-up Clay Aiken or singer Adam Lambert will be joining her.

A representative for AI season one winner Kelly Clarkson slammed reports that she would be a judge, insisting, "Kelly will not be a judge on Idol."

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is also rumored to be leaving the show, following Randy Jackson's departure.

Super Bass singer will reportedly use her time to focus on touring, creating a new album, and getting more endorsements.

"It's safe to say she isn't coming back to Idol," the source said. "She's OK with it. She had a great time, but was only going to do one season anyway."

Fox sources hinted that fellow judge Mariah Carey will be getting fired.

"Yes, we want to do a whole new panel-but, just like last time around, it depends on who we get," the source said.
