'True Blood' Season 6 Premiere: Bill's New Powers To Pin Him Against Sookie in New Season? NEW VIDEO & Details
Fans of HBO's hit vampire series, True Blood, recently got a glimpse of Bill's (Stephen Moyer) newest abilities, as he had been brought back by the blood of vampire goddess Lilith (Jessica Clark). Bill's new skills will undoubtedly pin him against the likes of Sookie (Anna Paquin).
While his upcoming powers are indeed intimidating, showrunner Brian Buckner informed TV Guide that Moyer's character will be a tad bit closer to reality than loyalists initially anticipate.
"We prefer prophet [over "god"]. Bill's more than just vampire and has powers we've never seen a vampire have. Bill and Sookie are not going to get on so hot. But their not getting on is kind of awesome," he explained.
Buckner also stated that Sookie will have to deal with Warlow, who is the oldest vampire witnessed on the series. Nonetheless, it still remains to be seen if Macklyn (Rutger Hauer) and the latter will turn out to be the same character, according to Screencrush
In other True Blood news, the show will only be airing 10 episodes this season as opposed to its usual 12. It's set to make its return on Sunday, June 16 on the HBO network.
