There are strong assumptions that "Sense8" Season 2 will face its cancellation soon after Netflix dropped the upcoming 10 episodes. However, Brian J. Smith, who plays the role of Will Gorski, slams the reports saying that nothing is final yet.

Brian J. Smith said that the future of "Sense8" Season 2 lays on Netflix and its fans' hands. If the second installment of the show performs well and these two loved it, then the final verdict for its continuation will be revealed.

"I think we'll all know whether or not we should do a third season," Brian J. Smith told Digital Spy. In fact, the 35-year-old actor is hoping that there would be a third chapter as there are a lot more things to tell when "Sense8" Season 2 ends. "We're not done with it and I hope we get to finish it, I really do," he explained.

Moreover, in other "Sense8" Season 2 news, Toby Onwumere now plays the role of Capheus to replace Aml Ameen while Lilly Wachowski left her sister alone as the show's series co-creator. To recall, Lilly revealed that she is a transgender woman in March 2016 and decided to leave the television series to take a rest.

In another interview of Brian J. Smith with Digital Spy, the "Hate Crime" actor said that Lilly needs time to be the person that she really is and she can't do it if she remains as "Sense8" Season 2 co-creator. He then explained that doing the Netflix drama can be time and physically demanding; from traveling to producing.

Brian J. Smith believed that Lilly needs a private time for herself, thus "Sense8" Season 2 is solely prepared by her sister Lana. The latter wrote the entire second installment on her own and she even directed "every single frame" of the show, but had to be on leave when their father got sick.

Meanwhile, Brian J. Smith described the coming "Sense8" Season 2 is very much challenging compared to its previous chapter. In fact, they all had a hard time to film the show this time. Netflix is about to drop the next 10 episodes on May 5.
