'One Punch Man' Season 2 Spoilers: Saitama to be Heartbroken after Fight with Genos, Hero's Past Explored [VIDEO]
With the second season of the highly popular anime television series, "One Punch Man," already confirmed to be coming out this year, fan's imaginations are now running wild. There is currently no official announcements yet regarding the plot for the new season, but several reports have already revealed some possible scenarios.
According to Korea Portal, the upcoming new season may be featuring a fight between Saitama and Genos. The fight will reportedly be affecting Saitama emotionally as he will likely be disheartened by their petty squabble. It is also possible that Saitama will intentionally lose to Genos', which will make it the first time that he ever loses a fight.
The reason for their conflict is not yet known, but it might have something to do with Genos' frustration towards having a master that is infinitely more powerful than he can ever be. Whatever the case may be, "One Punch Man" season 2 will likely be an emotional and heartbreaking season for the bald-headed superhero.
Another report from Telgiz suggests that one of the main antagonists for "One Punch Man" season 2 may be the A-Class Rank 1 hero, Amai Mask. Saitama and Amai Mask didn't really get along in the previous season, which makes it possible that Amai Mask may try to discover the source of Saitama's power.
Amai Mask will undoubtedly not be able to take on Saitama head on, which means that he may try to beat him with his cunning and intelligence. Aside from the new enemy, "One Punch Man" season 2 is expected to feature a series of flashbacks that will explore Saitama's past, including his family, his life before becoming a superhero, and possibly even his previous love life.
"One Punch Man" season 2 is expected to premiere its brand new episodes sometime in October 2017. Stay tuned to Enstarz for more updates regarding "One Punch Man" season 2.
