'Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: NEW PHOTOS Featuring Prison Group, Walkers & The Governor Released! VIDEO & Details
AMC's hit zombie thriller, The Walking Dead, continues to draw fans to the Internet by the boatload in anticipation for its Season 4 return in the fall.
On Tuesday, brand new set stills from the upcoming installment's walkers were reportedly released by Movie Pilot.
One of the photos features a large gang of zombies dominating what looks to be a main city street while the second picture shows Glen (Steven Yeun) and a weapon-wielding Carol (Melissa McBride) defending the prison against an approaching biter.
In two more shots, the Governor (David Morrissey) along with his two henchmen can be seen. Another photo features Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carol, Michonne (Danai Gurira), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Glenn and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) posing for the camera together.
TWD executive producer Gale Anne Hurd had previously informed Comic Book Resources that the fourth season will be returning to its storyline roots, as the series will be re-focusing in on the detrimental nature of the walkers.
"We are going to amp up the threat of walkers, because they've started to seem like a manageable threat. They are not a manageable threat," she said.
AMC's The Walking Dead will be kicking off its fourth season on Sunday, October 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central. The cast and crew are currently in production in Griffin, Ga.
