"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 80 preview has been released and it features Gohan's battle against Universe 9 warrior; Lavenda. With the latter's poison, Goku's son will be blinded during the match.
According to Auto World News, "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 80 is entitled "Awaken your sleeping battle spirit! Son Gohan Fight!" During this chapter of the show, the audiences will be able to finally see Son Gohan in action.
Based on the recently released "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 80 preview, Gohan will lose his sight. After Majin Buu had defeated Basil, the second round of the Omni-Present Match will be amongst Universe 7's Son Gohan and Universe 9's Lavenda. From the time when Universe 9 has been shattered with their first lost in battle, they have chosen Lavenda fight against the second opponent.
Even though Lavenda is much resilient compared co-warrior Basil, he is not that knowledgeable with the use of poison. This was Bergamo's specialty and it seems that he had given Lavenda poison that he will use during his match against Son Gohan. Based on the "Dragon Ball Super' Episode 80 preview it seems that Lavenda had used it with Goku's son.
The sneak peek for "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 80 also showed that Gohan lost his vision and he is also incapable of reading Lavenda's ki. Although patrons of Son Gohan would think it's really biased, the battle must continue for the sake of every single universe tangled in the competition.
As a refresher, Comic book stated in its article that the last episode of "Dragon Ball Super" took fans back a few years when the 'Universal Survival' arc had enforced Mr. Buu to combat earnestly. The match was between Majin Buu and his Universe 9 enemy was a gigantic one, but then Goku's co-warrior was able to beat Basil after the wolfish character injured Mr. Satan.
"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 80 will now feature Gohan taking the spotlight as he battle-out against Universe 9's Lavender. This chapter of "Dragon Ball Super" will air at Cruchyroll on Feb. 26 at 7:15 p.m. CST.
